The vortex appeals to me as a metaphor for life.
Reflecting on the passage of years and decades, it’s easy to see how ideas have evolved from germs into waves; how these waves recede after their time, leaving behind many fresh germs – some of which grow and surge in their place.
Again and again, the cycle of giving life to new concepts has repeated itself in my life.
